The weekend of January 11th and 12th featured the Despy Medal and Tarwin River Marathon races. The Despy Medal is aimed at levelling competition through personal handicaps, ultimately favoring slower sailors. The Tarwin River Marathon faced a thunderstorm, causing challenges, yet all participants returned safe. Awards were given across divisions.
