The Duty Roster is drawn up early in the season to spread the load of running events across the membership. Getting involved in running a race program, whether you’re in the tower or as Race Officer is a great way to learn more about sailing and race craft. Note that boat drivers are selected only from those members with a Marine boat licence.
When rostered on a race day, please arrive early at the club and review the ‘how to’ documents below if required. Remember, there’s always experienced club members available to ask questions and seek advice. The following ‘how-to’ guides have been prepared to help with roster duties –
