The weekend of January 11th and 12th featured the Despy Medal and Tarwin River Marathon races. The Despy Medal is aimed at levelling competition through personal handicaps, ultimately favoring slower sailors. The Tarwin River Marathon faced a thunderstorm, causing challenges, yet all participants returned safe. Awards were given across divisions.
A chilly evening greeted members attending the 2024 Presentation Night on the 18th May, however this was more than made up for with an open fire in the yard providing a warm focal point to socialise around before and after dinner. BYO proteins were complemented by Susan’s salads and garlic…
